Over the last year, we’ve watched as campus transformed into something new. Central to these changes has been the development of Thompson Hall. As students begin moving into their new rooms, we are anticipating an even greater strength in community.

Changes can be a challenge, but we believe this round will be an exception. The East and West two-story wings will be housing students, each hall with its own lounge, laundry, and kitchen. Gone are the days when students share a community bathroom. Now each room has a bathroom to itself. At the nucleus of the building, the game room, student life offices, and coffee bar pull all aspects of campus to a common area around a fireplace in the great room that overlooks Lake Marquette.

With food in the Schreiber Activity Center on the east end of campus and faculty on the west end in the Fellowship Center, the motto “Personal on Purpose” is becoming a visible trait even in Oak Hills’ campus layout.
